Listen to an Announcement: notices you hear
A single speaker announces something: a change of room, a new rule, an event. Two questions test what changed, who is affected and what listeners should do.
Format
- One speaker, about 40–70 seconds, heard once.
- Two multiple-choice questions.
Strategy
- Note the change and the reason for it.
- Note any instruction with a deadline or condition.
- Listen for who the announcement is for — everyone, or only some people.
Common traps
- The old arrangement presented as the new one.
- An instruction for a different group of listeners.
